The Design Process

1. Initial Consultation, the brief
After making contact, the next step will be to arrange a site visit, in which i can discuss the design process. I will listen to your ideas, how you would like to use your garden and your likes and dislikes.
Following the meeting, a design brief can be formulated and a written quotation can be provided for the estimated design fees.

2. Site Survey Analysis
On agreement of the design quotation, we will carry out an accurate measured survey of your garden before starting any design work. For larger gardens, an independent surveying company may need to be employed.
This will allow an accurate topographic scaled plan to be produced of the existing garden and can then be used for the new design work.
Cost for a site survey varies project depending

3. Plans (costs involved from this point), size of project dictates price.
A draft hand drawn sketched design is produced outlining the proposed design ideas for your garden, with photographic examples, based on the details and information given at the initial meeting.
This is then presented and discussed.  Any amendments can then be made prior to completing a detailed master plan.

4. Master plan,
All our plans are produced in CAD and 3D walkthrough visuals can be produced if required. This will include all hard landscape features such as water features, pergolas, Firepits, outdoor rooms lighting plans and irrigation will be provided. Construction Drawings are produced if building work with planning are required along with the necessary building reg drawings.

5. Planting plans
Compile detailed plant lists for client approval with suggested plant type and quantities with estimated costs.
